Introduction</h1><p id="rfc.section.1.p.1">This document describes a set of XSLT transformations that can be used to transform RFC2629-compliant XML (see <a href="#RFC2629" Other streams are the "independent stream" (used for things like administrative information or April 1st RFCs), the "IAB stream" (Internet Architecture Board) and the "IRTF stream" (Internet Research Task Force).</p><p id="rfc.section.D.3.p.2">Not surprisingly, the values for the attribute are "IETF" (the default value), "independent", "IAB", and "IRTF".</p><p id="rfc.section.D.3.p.3">Historically, this did not affect the final appearance of RFCs, except for subtle differences in Copyright notices.
